The OIE maintains also representations in the following regions: Africa:, Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

In addition maintains a Subregional Representation for the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and a Regional Co-ordination Unit of the South-East Asia Foot and Mouth Disease Campaign (RCU-SEAFMD)

The goal of these representations is to provide regionally adapted services to Member Countries so that they may strengthen the surveillance and control of animal diseases in the region.
